We are passionate about making a difference. Helping kids grow and succeed is at the heart of everything we do. But how we do it is just as important. We believe our neighborhoods and our world are best served when people of all ages and different backgrounds work together to share their time and talents.
We are creative with our ideas. Whether we are rolling up our sleeves or opening our wallets, our members have ideas and we find a way to help.

Gloria Cangelosi - StorySpinners
StorySpinners is a group of adults interested in the traditional art of storytelling. Turn off the TV, phones, Kindles and take in something dating back thousands of years.
The StorySpinners tell all kinds of stories - stories from traditional literature such as folk tales, and fables. They might tickle your funny bone with a personal tale of mishap and misfortune which ends happily ever after. Or the story may leave you with tears in your eyes from a story not so happily ended.
Gloria Cangelosi has been telling stories for over 25 years, first to her own children, then to her school kids, and now to groups everywhere. She is the current President of StorySpinners who meet once a month to share stories and the strategies of telling.
